My postdoctoral research project aims to explore the epistemological and political issues surrounding the process of revising the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). The main objective of this project is to promote a more inclusive decision-making model applicable to APA structures for including, excluding, or revising DSM diagnostic categories. This model would be based on feminist philosophy of science and the emerging trend of "philosophy of science in practice." I am also pursuing research on epistemic injustices in psychiatry, scientific objectivity, and the legitimacy of activism in psychiatry from a feminist science perspective.
