My dissertation project is entitled "Trouble in communication: semiotic exploration of epistemic injustice in organizational interaction sites". I argue that the experience of epistemic injustice has troubling effects on the meaning and communication of interlocutors in their interactions, hindering their participation in dialogue within the organization. My aim is to rethink an applied ethics of dialogue in practice and knowledge environments.
